2026 Daytona 500: Reddick Wins

Tyler Reddick wins the 68th Daytona 500 with a last-lap pass after 66 lead changes — the most in race history. Bubba Wallace led a race-high 40 laps but faded late as Michael McDowell held the point for 10 laps before Reddick and Stenhouse charged to the front on lap 200.

Chase Briscoe (#19) leads 23 laps before Zane Smith (#38) inherits Stage 1 Briscoe ran strong from early but pitted before the stage end. Bubba Wallace (#23) wins Stage 2 after Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson trade the lead Busch and Larson swapped the lead seven times before Wallace surged ahead. Michael McDowell (#71) leads 10 laps near the end McDowell looked poised to pull off another Daytona 500 upset. Reddick (#45) passes on the final lap to win A last-lap pass gives Reddick his first Daytona 500 victory.
